Welthia (Jaymie) Virjayma Mathena

Welthia (Jaymie) Virjayma Mathema was born in Shawnee Oklahoma on May 25th, 1940. Jaymie has now passed from this life into eternal rest at her home just south of Langley. Jaymie spent over 40 years in the Langley area and was proud to call it home. To say she had a love for music wouldn’t even begin to describe how big of a spot she held in her heart for it. Jaymie was a pianist and loved to play music and honor the lord through song. She spent many years as the choir director at the Cleora Community Church. Jaymie had a profound love for making dolls and fashioned them after many famous people and had an extraordinary talent for doing so. She spent a number of years in her life as a florist and loved all that had to do with flowers. Jaymie was preceded in death by her former husbands as well as her parents. She is survived by her son John and a granddaughter Nicole as well as one brother Butch Roberts and a host of other relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held at the Luginbuel funeral home chapel in Langley Oklahoma on Thursday, October 27th at 2 p.m. with Bro. Colin Kirk officiating.
